The BiggyBank MarketPlace is now under way.

At BiggyBank MarketPlace you can buy or sell Superlative Products.

The BiggyBank MarketPlace is located at Against The Grain http://www.against-thegrain.co.uk (which is currently having an identity crisis as a furniture store, but all that is in the process of changing).

What's a superlative product?
Any product that is superlative to you can be a superlative product.

* Merchandise with superlative slogans like: The World's Greatest Dad, or The World's Bossiest Sister - mugs, posters, hats, T-shirts, calendars, cards… anything goes!
* Products that are recommended as superlative like: the best, the softest, the cheapest, the most expensive….
* Your favourite used items that you wish to sell.
* Superlative Photos, Paintings or other graphics and art
* Superlative music

For Sellers:  

If you have a superlative product that you would like to sell - whether used or new - you can sell it at the BiggyBank MarketPlace.

The BiggyBank MarketPlace is not a collection of links that refer buyers to shops, but it is going to be the Greatest Biggest Shop on the Internet!

All you have to do is submit details of the product you want to sell, and ship the product to the buyer once it has been sold. Details you need to submit include: Title, Description, Price (including postage to various locations), contact details. You will also need to submit an image of your product. We know this all sounds a bit vague right now, but we're working on it, and any comments or suggestions you have can be added below.

BiggyBank and Against The Grain will take care of selling your products for you, including collecting payment from the customers, and passing the payment on to you (minus a small percentage of the sale to cover our administrative costs). This means you don't have to invest any more costs in selling your product, you don't have to create an e-commerce shop.

Currently we are accepting sellers from the UK. Sellers can ship to to anywhere in the world, as long as the shipping rates are stated.

Against the Grain and the BiggyBank MarketPlace do not allow trading of anything illegal, or anything with adult content. And we are very much concerned with copyright issues as well, so you have to have the right to sell whatever it is you are selling.

For Buyers:

The advantage of buying at BiggyBank is that you are assured that your payment is going through secure channels. Unlike other Internet marketplaces, The BiggyBank MarketPlace does not send you to offsite links once you have found the products you like. You buy whatever you want in one place, and make one payment.

Because the individual sellers will be shipping their products to you, and enquiries about shipping will be directly between the buyer and the seller. Warranties and Guarantees are provided by the sellers. BiggyBank is not a party to Warranties and Guarantees given by other sellers.
